Our Mission is simple:

Joining youthful voices in harmony.

Singers in Straight River Youth Singers are students who are committed to singing with excellence - in all that we do. Singers learn diverse and challenging repertoire in a warm, joy-filled environment. They receive instruction from our world-class choral conductors in note reading, musical vocabulary, and techniques to enhance the expressive capacity of their singing. They also focus on vocal training to help develop breath and pitch control, proper vowel placement, and healthy singing habits. Together, we learn the values of teamwork & leadership, without the pressures of competition.

SRYS ensembles perform throughout the Owatonna community and region.
